• War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement 
• Armed Forces Independence Payment

Yes! Young people aged 16 and over who receive a qualifying mobility allowance can join. If the customer is under 21, a parent, guardian, or carer will usually be added as a named driver. 

The lease covers:

• A brand-new vehicle every 3 years
• Insurance for up to 3 drivers
• Servicing, maintenance, and MOT
• Road tax
• Breakdown assistance
• Tyre and windscreen replacement

Most Motability leases include a mileage allowance of 60,000 miles over 3 years. Excess mileage charges may apply if you exceed this limit. 

In some cases, yes. You may be offered the option to purchase your vehicle at the end of your lease. Speak to your Motability dealer for details.

Yes, you can part-exchange a privately owned vehicle. The value of your car can go toward any required Advance Payment. 

The cost is deducted directly from your qualifying mobility allowance every 4 weeks. You don’t need to manage any additional payments unless an Advance Payment is required. An Advance Payment is a one-off upfront cost for higher-spec vehicles not fully covered by your mobility allowance. We’ll help you find options with or without one. 

If your allowance ends, the vehicle will need to be returned. You may be eligible for a transition package, depending on the circumstances. 

Yes, if you lease an electric car and have off-street parking, a home charge point can be installed at no extra cost as part of the scheme.
